HOW CAN TAX SEASON HELP STUDENTS?
This year, you have a new opportunity to give back—and give to the future—when you’re doing your taxes.
By checking the Michigan Junior Achievement Fund box on the State of Michigan Income Tax Form 4642—Voluntary Contributions Schedule, you can give more Michigan students a chance to learn the business of life through JA programs that emphasize money management, entrepreneurial thinking, high-demand careers and the soft skills necessary for success.
To donate any amount from $5 on up, simply check the Michigan Junior Achievement Fund box and indicate the desired amount. Donations will be deducted directly from any refund, or if you are not receiving a refund, the donation will be added to the amount due.
Please make a point to contribute in this simple, painless way. Everything JA does is done to better equip students for the business of life.
Imagine a generation of students armed with the confidence and understanding to take control of their futures and equipped to achieve their dreams.
The economy is evolving at a rapid pace. It is time to redesign the student experience to prepare today’s youth for tomorrow’s economy. In partnership with the education and business communities, Junior Achievement is transforming the student experience by bringing relevance, authenticity and application into everyday learning to energize students around academics and their future possibilities. Together, we will empower the next generation with the knowledge, capacity and motivation to thrive; to build a better future for themselves and their community.
