JA Journey-2-Jobs

JA Journey-2-Jobs (J2J) provide high school students with an enriching experience in work-readiness and career perspectives. The programs are an academically motivating activity designed to give kids the unique opportunity of an up-close look at the world of work.

Before arriving, the high school students receive instruction from JA volunteers and their teachers about job-shadowing.  They come prepared with questions for the experts-our partners and exhibitors! We want to show the students that there are jobs at every level of education, and in a wide variety of interests.

Participating schools are matched with businesses based on the number of employees available to participate in a JA J2J as well as the students’ interests.
