Rising Achievers Advisory Board (R.A.A.B.)

Comprised of Detroit’s top young professionals who have an interest in advancing the youth of this region and ultimately effecting the economic growth of southeastern Michigan.  The Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan R.A.A.B. is committed to advancing JA’s mission - to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.   This will happen primarily through volunteer outreach and special events, as well as support of the JA three pillars: Financial Literacy, Workforce Readiness, and Entrepreneurship.

Events

The JA R.A.A.B. sponsors one or two casual networking events per year, and the JA Off the Island Event in the spring, where we discuss topics covered at the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference.

Program

In addition, the JA R.A.A.B. is rolling out a new Mentoring program in January 2020, and members continue to volunteer for many JA Programs.
